Santa's Jolly Christmas Party Games

The holiday season is nearing, which means Christmas is right around the corner. Why not throw a Christmas themed party for all of your friends and family? We've put together some terrific Christmas party games that are sure to keep everyone engaged and excited. Plus, each party game has been Santa approved!

Christmas Charades

Christmas charades can be a lot of fun with a group of people. Split up into two teams, then take turns acting out Christmas phrases for your group to guess. Rotating each time around with someone new from each group performing the charades. The team with the best score wins!

Let it Snow | Merry and Bright | Sleigh Bells Ringing | Dashing Through The Snow

Reindeer Race

Santa says to set up an obstacle course with hoops, cones, or snowballs. Then have each guest race on all fours like a reindeer would. The fastest reindeer to make it through all the obstacles wins the race!

Elf Dress-Up Contest

Ask those attending your holiday party to get into the spirit of Christmas by dressing up as an elf for the event. Santa's helpers have many different personalities. Therefore, they each like to dress slightly different. Have fun rating your friends efforts for an elf dress-up contest. See who wears it best or puts the most effort into getting into the holiday cheer.

Guess The Christmas Song Title

Test your guests' knowledge with this sing-a-long game. Provide each guest with a list of lyrics from popular Christmas songs. Try not to make it too easy by quoting some lesser known lines. Then find out who can name the most Christmas carols.

 "A gent was riding by
In a one-horse open sleigh
He laughed as there I sprawling lie
But quickly drove away"

-Jingle Bells

"He sees you when you're sleepin',
He knows when you're awake,
he knows if you've been bad or good,
So be good for goodness sake."

-Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Santa's Sack Run

Ho Ho Ho! Time to see what it's like for Santa Claus when he delivers all the presents each year.

Fill a Christmas toy bag with gifts, or anything you prefer, then ask your guests to race to the finish line carrying the bags. You can set it up as one quick race, or make it a relay race with teams. Whoever crosses the finish line first wins the game!

Candy Cane Guess

Fill a large glass or see-through container full of various candy canes, while counting as you go. Then, have each guest guess exactly how many candy canes they think you've put into the container. The winner gets a gift and maybe a candy cane too.

Hosting a Christmas party can be lots of fun. Santa says to keep the games going, the holiday music playing, and perhaps some Christmas movies playing on the television. Oh and do not forget to supply some sweet treats for your guests too!
